Cleanifiq was founded by someone who truly understands the struggles cleaners face.
Starting work at just 13, our founder worked in a cinema cleaning late into the night, often taking on long, grueling shifts, only to be paid unfairly and treated poorly. What kept him going was the joy of knowing customers appreciated a clean, welcoming space.
But over time, those long hours and low pay took their toll—it no longer felt like creating joy, but rather like being exploited. These experiences sparked a vision for change—a platform where cleaners are respected, paid fairly, and supported.
"I've been there—cleaning for hours, being paid unfairly, and treated badly. I loved knowing that customers enjoyed the spaces I cleaned, but when you're overworked and underpaid, that joy fades, and it just feels like you're being exploited. Nobody should have to go through that."
