Yes! You decide what to charge for each type of cleaning job. Set your prices once during setup, and customers book at those prices. No negotiating, no back-and-forth—they either book or they don't.
It's completely free to join. We charge a 20% commission on paid jobs only. That covers finding customers, the booking system, payment processing, and all admin automation. You only pay when you earn—zero upfront costs.
We have two types of customers: Private customers pay upfront when booking—funds are released to you after the job is completed (usually within 48 hours). Business customers (letting agencies, property managers) have 30-day payment terms—we handle all the invoicing and payment collection for you.
Mainly end-of-tenancy cleans (£150-300), deep cleans (£180-250), after-builders cleans (£200-400), and Airbnb turnovers (£50-80). Most of our work comes from letting agencies and property managers, which means regular, repeat bookings.
Yes, as an independent cleaner, you'll need your own tools and supplies. If you need help finding trusted suppliers or recommendations on equipment, we can assist you during setup.
Yes, we recommend having your own liability insurance. To help you get started, we provide coverage for your first 3 jobs while you arrange your own policy. After that, you'll need your own insurance to continue taking bookings.
Our team reviews all complaints. If the issue is valid, you'll have 48 hours to address it. If the complaint is unreasonable (e.g., a customer paid for a quick oven wipe but expects deep degreasing), we will reject it and protect you.
Absolutely! Cleanifiq is just another source of work. Keep all your existing clients—we only charge commission on bookings that come through our platform.
We're currently operating in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Manchester, and London. If you're elsewhere, book a call anyway—we're expanding regularly and can let you know when we launch in your area.
