You get 48 hours to go back and put it right. We look at evidence from both sides — your photos, your account, their feedback. We don’t just rubber-stamp the customer’s version. If it can’t be resolved, we may send someone else and deduct the cost from that job. Three substantiated complaints could mean a temporary suspension, but we work with you, not against you.
For general handyman work? No formal qualifications required in the UK. But if you’re touching gas or electrics, you need the right certs (Gas Safe, Part P, etc.). You need to be over 18, have the right to work in the UK, and carry public liability insurance.
The customer does — upfront, through the platform. We hold the money. You buy the materials, deliver them, upload receipts and photos. Customer confirms (or it auto-confirms after 2 days). Then the money goes to you. You never pay out of your own pocket.
